近藤康夫デザイン事務所から独立した大坪さんと、廣村デザイン事務所から独立した木住野さんの二人で起こしたデザインユニット、6Dの事務所に遊びに行ってきました。
前事務所時代に共に仕事をする中で意気投合し、ユニットを立ち上げた二人。木住野さんのメインとする2D［グラフィック］と大坪さんのメインとする3D［空間］を掛け合わせ、6Dと名付けたそうです。

ちなみに木住野さんにはTwiceでVI計画も担当して頂きました。
残念ながら木住野さんは出張中で不在でしたが、大坪さんとは独立して以来と久々だったため、随分と話し込みました。大坪さんの出会いは、池袋西武百貨店 YOHJI YAMAMOTOさんの店舗デザインを近藤事務所が担当し、什器をEXIT METALWORK SUPPLYで担当した時からの付き合いで、気付けばもう6年です。そりゃお互い年を取った訳ですね。

This site appears to recieve a great deal of visitors. How do you promote it? It gives a nice unique twist on things. I guess having something authentic or substantial to give info on is the most important thing.

Wishing you 2011 Happy New Year! I am impressed, I must say. Very rarely do I discover a blog thats both informative and entertaining, and let me tell you, youve hit the nail on the head. Your thoughts is important; the issue is something that not a lot of people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
